Being in the regional park of the Carrega forest that covers 1270 hectares of land and is situated between the river Taro and the torrent Baganza, in the villages of Collecchio and Sala Baganza, Casearia Montecoppe is in an area of hills and forests with huge naturalist and historical-cultural interests. Woods, grassy areas and sown fields, interweaved by small streams and ponds, compose an elegant and suggestive landscape where it is very likely to meet goats, hares and squirrels.
In collaboration with the regional park of the Carrega forest, Casearia Montecoppe organises gastronomic itineraries and public open days during which it is possible to assist with the cheese making process, and see where it is matured and visit the vast property. At the end of the visit you can taste Parmigiano Reggiano at its many different stages, as well as various hams and wines that are typical to the territory
